Description

According to old legends, the sun disappears into the underworld at midwinter. Every year, a brave hero is chosen to undertake the dangerous Journey of the Sheaf and deliver the last sheaf of wheat from the autumn harvest to the Land of Darkness. The grain bears the strength of warm summer days and with its help, the sun will return.

The hero is called “Sheaf Bearer”.

This year, we need not only one, but several Sheaf Bearers to bring back the sun. The journey to Manala, the Land of Darkness, is long and challenging. You are the chosen ones – do you accept the challenge?

You’ll need:

  1. Prints, 11 pages. You can download and print them yourself using a color printer.
  2. A game code, which you’ll get by purchasing the game.
  3. A pair of scissors and a pen.
  4. A device connected to the internet, with a screen of at least 10″.

The game includes:

  • 11 original challenges, with 3 hints/challenge.
  • 7 different “locations” where the journey takes you. Still, the game can be played around your kitchen table.

For whom is the game suitable?

The game is suitable for players between 10 and 100 years of age, who are fascinated by arctic mysteries, northern lights and snowy landscapes. The game is set above the Polar Circle in Northern Finland, the land of Santa.

We recommend that you reserve 1-1,5 hours for the game. You’ll be on a journey with interesting, original challenges that will make your player’s brains tick happily. The difficulty level is medium to hard, so take your time and enjoy! You can ask for up to three hints, of which the last one will more or less tell you the solution, so there’s no danger of getting stuck in the snow.
